Evidence at Florida Coastal Law

The Evidence course at Florida Coastal School of Law provides students with a foundational understanding of the principles governing the admissibility of evidence in legal proceedings. This course emphasizes both federal and state rules of evidence, equipping students with critical analytical skills necessary for practice. Through a combination of theoretical discussions and practical applications, students examine the roles played by evidence in trials, including the implications of hearsay, witness credibility, and privileges.

In addition to formal lectures, students engage in case studies and hypothetical scenarios to develop their understanding of evidentiary rules.
